Thank you to everyone who came out and to all the rotaractors the donated their time to make the event a success!

Minute to Win It Christmas Social

cparty2

Around this time every year, our Social Committee puts together a holiday party for our club members to unwind and celebrate our accomplishments from the past year. This year, our social’s theme was “Minute to Win It” and we were split up into teams to participate in various activities throughout the evening. We also had a blind gift exchange with recycled gifts. Thanks to our “Social Sisters”, Chantal and Nicole, for organizing this fun event!

One of the scavenger hunt tasks involved purchasing a hot beverage to warm up a Salvation Army volunteer.

Members of our group spent the afternoon running around the Tri-Cities area to perform random acts of kindness for both strangers and people who serve our local communities. Among the tasks that we performed were:

  • Delivering flowers to workers at Eagle Ridge Hospital
  • Bringing Timbits to police officers
  • Giving balloons to young children
  • Purchasing a hot drink for a Salvation Army volunteer
  • Serenading a group of strangers
  • Picking up litter

Thank you to Brianne and Rasmeet for organizing the event, and to Kevin, Anabelle, Eric, Raj, Chantal, Adam, Janelle and Jordan for participating!
