We had the pleasure today of once again participating in a container loading project with Rotary Clubs from throughout the area. This time around, the container was bound for South Africa and held various items including beds, printers, photocopiers and even pianos! The full set of photos can be found here.
On February 16, 2013, the Tri-Cities Rotaract Club had its first experience working towards an international cause. The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen asked for our help with loading a shipment of medical equipment bound for Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and together with the Port Moody Rotary, and friends who wanted to help the cause, we sorted, loaded, stacked, and packed a container full of 417 boxes and pieces of medical equipment. It was heavy work, but it was definitely worth it!
