A Night with the Stars Benefit Concert

Vancouver-based band Pigeon Park were among the performers at our benefit concert to raise money for an orphanage in Uganda.

March 20, 2014 marked one of the largest events our club has held thus far! Our “A Night with the Stars” benefit concert, held at Inlet Theatre in Port Moody, was a fundraiser for Jaaja Barb’s Home of Angels Orphanage in Mpumudde, Uganda. The orphanage, started by B.C. native Barb Giraud, protects orphans living with HIV/AIDS in acute poverty.

The night featured plenty of local talent including acoustic singers, bands, and dance crews, and featured plenty of free food and prizes. In the end, we were able to raise $4,025.41 for Jaaja Barb’s Home of Angels! Thank you to all of our guests and sponsors who made the event our most successful one yet.
